Archiving
processes are defined using the
so-called patterns. An archiving
pattern specifies into which
archive and medium it should be
archived. The
schema manager allows parallel
archiving to take place onto a
wide range of storage systems and
media. This
method of schema management is
highly effective. This
can be used by the complete range
of products (PAM-STORAGE DMS/ECM,
Workflow, e-form, e-mail archiving
and file archiving).

All
documents have a lifecycle and
should be stored securely in a
long-term archive or a dynamic
high availability store for easy
access depending on their
importance. Let PAM-STORAGE HSM
Lifecycle Manager deal with almost
all Lifecycle jobs that are
activated using the scheduler
process or initiated by the
administrator. PAM-STORAGE HSM
works together with all current
storage systems and supports
copying, transfer and deletion
operations.
