Documents from a variety of sources
(MS-Office documents, scans, photographs, PDFs,
etc.) are stored in a centralized filing system to avoid media inconsistencies between
paperbased and electronic documents. You can also sort documents into electronic
files to maintain the familiar view.

Compared to conventional paper-based filing systems which
in principle only allow filing in one direction (e.g. by name
from A-Z or by customer number), electronically filed documents can be tagged with
multiple search terms.
This flexible search option in the filing system can be
further optimized with electronic full-text search capabilities.
Searching for documents is then as simple as "googling".
Needless to say, pamboa has standard editing features
familiar from paper documents (post-it notes, text highlights,
and free annotations). |
